I did everything I could to get her to give me another one—barking, licking, nudging, and even shaking hands, but nothing worked. I just had to make do with the one. So, I did.

Then something terrible happened. The bone got stuck where I couldn’t reach it. I just had to lie and watch it until my person got the message. Sometimes, she’s a little slow to catch on.
